After disappearing from the party-agenda for a while, UDC (in collaboration with Black & White Bookings) reintroduces Concept and how…!! On the 30th of October 2010 they will transform the Ahoy in Rotterdam, Netherlands, in a true Techno-Temple with performances from only the best Techno has to offer…

Since the beginning of electronic music, Techno has been one of the most constant & innovative styles in the scene, with endured some changes over time. Where there was only Techno in the beginning, now splitted up in different styles like Minimal, Tech-House and Off-Beat. Strange thing is that even when techno is growing in popularity, there aren’t many big events with this style in the Netherlands. So we thought it was time to (re-) introduce one, and Concept was reborn…!

Between the last edition of Concept and now, a lot has changed in the way events are given. Visuals and Sound is much better now and really provides the visitor with a extra dimension during their night out. So, to provide this we’ll add only the best in sound & visuals in both area’s, with will let the mouths drop of all people that see it. We’ll also introduce something completely new in stage-designing, which is something you don’t want to miss..

Concept will consist of 2 large area’s and a small Silent Techno area. Minimal, Tech-House and Techno are the main sounds pumping out-off area 1. Being represented by only the very best on national & international level, artists like Secret Cinema, Remy vs Warren Fellow, Alex Under, PanPot, Mauro Picotto & Cari Lekebusch vs Alan Fitzpatrick will provide the audience with a multiple musical-orgasm during the night…

In area 2 we’ll go back to the roots… Off-beat, Raw Techno and Oldschool- Trible techno will be the sound blasting out of the speakers in this area. These styles will be split up in two during the night. In the first part Off-beat and Raw Techno will be represented by local heroes Bas Mooy & Radial, with international heavy-weights A.Paul & James Ruskin vs Regis backing them up. So expect them to mix the new with the old, with old tracks that will make Ahoy shiver..

Halfway during the night we’ll switch the style to Oldschool- Trible-Techno. This style is well known this in the techno community as the techno where it all begin. Because of all the different techno-styles developed in the last years, this style is been dormant for some while, and this is unacceptable! So we’ll start to reintroduce this too and we’ll let the techno-peeps dance again to the oldschool & trible-beats from techno heroes like Marco Bailey, Dylan Drazen and Mike Drama vs Dj Bold (with a unique B2B set). So mark these words: This will be the next techno-style!!

To finish the whole thing of with a bang, there will also be a Silent Techno area where people can listen to the finest techno trough headphones mixed by Dutch techno-masters such as Peter Horrevorts, Egbert, Hertz & Vibes and Boris Ross, with a international act provided by Ramon Tapia. So check this area out…!

So, as you can see, this will be a line-up that you don’t want to miss… It will be a true add to the techno-scene in the Netherlands. We’ll set a new standard in giving techno-events and will try to overdo ourself very time that we’ll come back… Expect a totally new set-up of Concept, because we renewed the whole ‘concept’. To make a long story short: More the enough reason to come over to Rotterdam on the 30th of October, because CONCEPT is back, baby..!
